A question, a method
At the start of my career as a Managing Director, whilst I was leading my first turnaround, the results were starting to show after eight particularly intense months.
A colleague, also a Managing Director in another country, then asked me a simple question: “How do you do it?”
My answer was instinctive: “We work hard.”
His was decisive: “We all work hard. But you, you get the results on top.”
That moment marked a turning point.

It led me to analyse what really made the difference in my approach and to formalise a method, which I have since tested and refined in a variety of contexts.
It is this method that I now apply through IMPACT by CD: transforming strategic ambition into tangible results by combining alignment, disciplined execution and the reduction of frictions.

Cécile Drouilly

My career spans more than 25 years of experience, including 10 years as Managing Director, within leading multinational companies such as Reckitt, Coty, Nuxe and Boots, overseeing international operations with a turnover of up to $2 billion.
I have developed expertise across multiple sectors – FMCG, Consumer Health, Beauty & Luxury – covering more than 30 categories, from Personal Care to Home Care, from Beauty to Dermocosmetics, across various distribution channels: mass market, pharmacy, perfumery and e-commerce.
I thus combine in-depth market knowledge, rigorous operational management, a strong financial focus and the ability to lead complex transformations.

Throughout my career, I have managed high-stakes situations - turnarounds, growth acceleration, organisational transformation – in multi-country and highly competitive environments, delivering double-digit growth, returns to profitability, sustainable margin improvements and helping several brands achieve category leadership.
My international exposure - having visited nearly 70 countries, covered more than 40 markets, and lived across three continents in five countries, culminating in my discovery of the ‘seven new wonders of the world’ - has enabled me to develop a nuanced understanding of cultural dynamics and business environments.
I speak fluent French, English, Italian and Spanish, enabling me to communicate directly with my counterparts, in close contact with local realities, without filter or approximation.
